Meet the family for May 13, 2012


Jane Elliott
is 210 years old today, born in 1802 in Fairfield Connecticut and died Sep 18, 1863 in Cherokee, AL.  Jane is Tara and Calum's 4th great-grandmother.  Jane married William Reedy and begot Mary Ann Reedy in 1825.  Mary Ann married Robert Marion Naugher Nov 4, 1847 in Benton, AL and begot Moses Service Naugher in 1851. Moses married Sallie E. Savage in 1883 and begot Horace Savage Naugher in 1897.  Horace married Maxie Ruth Smith and begot Moses S. Naugher in 1920. M. S. Naugher is Tara and Calum's Grandfather.


Ruth Hulgan
is 90 years old today, born in 1922 in Dekalb, AL.  Ruth is Ella and Mason's 1/2 great-grandaunt.  Her father is Thomas Franklin Hulgan and mother Bonnie Dobbs, her 1/2 brother is Cecil Robert Hulgan, Ella and Mason's great-grandfather.  Cecil's mother is Della D. Berryhill, Thomas' second wife.


Helen Jean Whaley
is 87 years old today, born in 1925.  Helen is the wife of 1st cousin 3 times removed, Nathan H. Wooden.  Nathan's father is Harvey Houston Wooden, the brother of 2nd great-grandfather, Joseph R. Wooden.  Harvey was the youngest of the 6 Wooden children and Joseph the oldest, 18 years apart.

Elizabeth "Beth" Wooden is 108 years old today, born in 1904. Beth is the boys' 3rd cousin 4 times removed.  Her father is 2nd cousin 5 times removed, John Henry Wooden the son of 1st cousin 6 times removed, Abraham Wooden whose father is 5th great-granduncle John Wooden, the brother of 5th great-grandfather, Robert Madison Wooden, Jr.
