Meet the family for August 5th

Herbert Henry Anderson
is 142 years old today, born in 1868. Herbert is the boys' 2nd great-granduncle's wife's brother.  His sister is Myrtle M. Anderson who married the boys' 2nd great-granduncle, Harvey Houston Wooden.  They had 10 Wooden children but it looks like all of them have died.  The last one, Nathan H. Wooden born in 1922 and died in 2006 married Helen Jean Whaley who died in 2007, but they have a living boy and girl who would be the boys' 2nd cousin twice removed.  The girl married Brent Riley and they also have a boy and a girl.  The boys' name is Sean Riley, the boys' 3rd cousin.  Nathan's son married an Elshoff but that's all I know.  Harvey Wooden's brother is the boys' 2nd great-grandfather, Joseph R. Wooden.

Sabinus Walker
is 209 years old today, born in 1801.  Sabinus is the boys' 5th great-granduncle and the brother of Cady R. Walker who married Electa Sparks in 1813 in Massachusetts.  They begot Almira Walker who was the first wife of Samuel Cheney Cotton.  They begot Hubbard Cotton in 1838.

Edward Garland Bagley and Julianna (Julia) Pegram Trotter's
165 anniversary is today, married in 1845 when he was 33 and she was 21 years old.  Edward and Julia are Andrew and Bryan's 3rd great-grandparents.  They begot Isham Trotter Bagley in 1851 who married Susan Epes Seay October 22, 1874 and they begot another Edward Garland Bagley in 1884.  This Edward married Ethel Clare Hethorn and are the boys' great-grandparents.

Elizabeth Barnhart
died 160 years ago today in 1850 in Howard, Pennsylvania at the age of 87.  Elizabeth is the boys' 6th great-grandmother.  She was born in Lancaster Pennsylvania in 1763 and later married John K. Kneff.  They begot Jacob Kneff, the boys' 5th great-grandfather, in 1796, who married Louisa October 10, 1816 in Ohio.  They begot 4 children, with Catherine Kneff being the first born in 1819.  Catherine married Isaac Austin Stanford in Tippecanoe, Indiana, October 8, 1835 and are the boys' 4th great-grandparents.  They begot 12 children with David Stanford being the 2nd born in 1837.  David had 3 wives, two of them were the sisters, Nancy Ann Kenley and Amanda Jane Kenley.  The boys' line flows down through Nancy, David's second wife.  Her first born is Margaret Jennie Stanford who married Joseph R. Wooden October 29, 1884 in Illinois and are the boys' 2nd great grandparents and the parents of Walter William Wooden, Sr. and Leroy Oliver Wooden.  This is most assuredly an interesting family line.
