Meet the family for April 20th

MYER/BROWN-FAMILY LINE

Dedrich Homer Myer
died 57 years ago today in 1953 at the age of 64. Dedrich Homer Myer is Dick Myer's father and 10 others.  He was born March 24, 1889 in Madison, Georgia.  Homer married Cora Augusta Edge in 1920.  They are Ella's 2nd great-grandparents.  This Christmas I would like to do a tree for each branch of the 11 children.  Any information on their children and their children's children and their children's, children's, children will be welcome.

STANFORD/WOODEN-FAMILY LINE

BOWMAN/KENLEY/STANFORD/WOODEN/BRIDGFORTH-DAY
Eliza J. Bowman
is 169 years old today, born in 1841.  Eliza is the wife of the boys' 4th great-granduncle, Franklin Kenley, born in 1838 in Indiana.  Frank is the only child of the boys' 5th great-grandfather, John Kenley and his second wife Zilphia Nevins.  His son from his first marriage with Mary Warmsley, is James S. Kenley born in 1813, the boys' 4th great-grandfather, born in Kentucky, then married Mary Jane Gill and begot Nancy Ann Kenley in 1844.  Nancy married David Stanford in 1865 and begot Margaret Jennie Stanford later that same year.  Jennie married Joseph R. Wooden in 1884 in Illinois.  They are both buried in Appleton City, St. Clair, Missouri.

WOODEN/BRIDGFORTH-DAY
James L. Wooden
is 52 years old today, born in 1958.  His father is Kenneth Wendell Wooden, born in 1923 and died in 2006. James is the boys' 2nd cousin once removed.  Kenneth is their 1st cousin twice removed and his father is Leroy Oliver Wooden, the brother of Walter William Wooden, the boys' great-grandfather.

COTTON/WOODEN-FAMILY LINE

RAY/COTTON/WOODEN/BRIDGFORTH
Susan wife of Thomas Ray Sr.
is 212 years old today, born in 1798. Susan died at age 61 in Gardner Illinois in 1859.  They begot 4 children, the youngest being Thomas B. Ray the husband of Charlotte Brown and the Father of Lottie B. Ray who married Samuel Hazelitt Cotton to be the 2nd great-grandparents of the boys'.
