Meet the family for April 16th

89th anniversary is today, married in 1921.  Annie is Steve's great-grandaunt.  Born in 1902 she is the second oldest of the 7 children born to Caesar Augustus Steible and Louisa Wildmann, Steve's 2nd great-grandparents.  Annie is 6 years older than her 1st brother Ceasar Alford Steible, Steve's Great-grandfather.

June Juanita Ferguson
died 22 years ago today in 1988 at the age of 70 in Eugene Oregon.  Cousins seem to roam farther than uncles and aunts.  June is the boys' 3rd cousin twice removed, born in 1917 in Colorado Springs, CO to Joseph Harden Ferguson and the boys' second cousin 3 times removed, Juanita M. Galt from MO.  Juanita's father is Thomas Resin Galt, born in IL, he is the boys' 1st cousin 4 times removed.  Thomas' mother is Mary Ann Brown, the boys' 3rd great-grandaunt born in Sangamon IL.  Mary's parents are Resin D. Brown and Rachel Earnest, the boys' 4th great-grandparents, both from Kentucky.  So that is a move from Kentucky to Illinois to Missouri to Colorado to Oregon.

Sarah Jackson
died 257 years ago today in 1753 at the age of 73 in Fairfield, CT.  Sarah is the boys' 9th great-grandmother.  She married Francis Bradley and begot Gersom Bradley in 1712.  Gershom married Sarah Sherwood and begot Sarah Bradley in 1744, the boys' 7th great grandmother.  Sarah married David Barlow II in 1764 and begot Anna Barlow in 1763.  Anna married Talcott Gold in 1782 and they begot Sally Gold in 1782, the boys' 5th great-grandmother who married Ira Cotton in 1811.

Thankful Cotton
died 331 years ago today in 1679 at the age of 2 days in Concord, Middlesex, Massachusetts. Thankful is the boys' 8th great-grandaunt.  She was the last of the 6 children born to the Rev, John Cotton and Mary Marie Stowe.  Thankful's brother is Samuel Cotton who married Experience Hall in 1716.

died 97 years ago today in 1913 at age 52 in Lucas county Ohio.  The boys' 2nd cousin 4 times removed. His mother is Lydia Ann Banks, 1st cousin 5 times removed.  Her father is David Bradley Banks the 1/2 brother of Samuel Cheney Cotton, the boys' 4th great-grandfather.  Their common parent was Sally Gold.

Ketorah Bayler
is 168 years old today born in 1842 at the age of 0.  You'd be surprised if she was born at age 2 wouldn't you?  Ketorah is the wife of the boys' 3rd great-granduncle, Jacob K. Stanford.  Jacob's brother is David Stanford, born in 1837 and the father of Margaret Jennie Stanford who married Joseph R. Wooden, the boys' 2nd great-grandfather.
