Meet the family for March 9th


Dellia Keever
died 45 years ago today. She was 74 and died in Decatur, AL in 1965.  Dellia married Noah Benjamin Chambers in 1908.  He was 29 and she was 18 years old.  They begot  Gid Chambers in 1907, Ede Chambers in 1908, Nellie Chambers in 1909 and Mary Dee Chambers in 1919.  Dellia is Ella's 2nd great-grandmother.  Nellie Chambers married Cecil Robert Hulgan and they are Ella's Great-grandparents.


George Allen Eubanks
is 62 years old today, born in 1948. George is Tara's 1st cousin once removed.  George's parents are George Wilson Eubanks and Mary Elizableth Naugher.  George has a brother too, Larry Wilson Eubanks, born in 1949.  George's mother Mary is Tara's Grandaunt.  Her parents are Horace Savage Naugher and Maxie Ruth Smith also the parents of Moses S. Naugher, Tara's Grandfather.


James Johnson
is 207 years old today, born in 1803 in Kentucky.  He died at age 82 on Sep 11, 1885 in Harrison, IN.  James married Mary Magdelaine Le Fevre March 4 1824 in Salem, IN and are the boys' 4th great grandparents.  They begot Amanda Johnson in 1833.  Amanda married Andrew J. Wooden and begot Joseph R. Wooden in 1860, the boys' 2nd great-grandfather.


Lenore B. Comings
died 100 years ago today at age 51 in Cairo, IL. Lenore B. Comings is Steven Ray Wooden, Jr.'s  2nd great-grandaunt's husband's mother. No blood just interesting.  Lenore's son Frank Ince is the second husband married to Rebecca Elizebeth Sims, Steve's 2nd great-grandaunt.  Rebecca is Margret Izora Sim's sister.  Margret is Gram, Steve's 2nd great-grandmother and the mother of Lola Everhart who is the mother of Betty Steible the mother of Steve Wooden, the father of Steve Wooden Jr.



Samuel Cotton died 250 years ago today in 1760 at age 84 in Middletown, CT.  He was born February 21, 1676 in Concord, Middlesex, Massachusetts.  Samuel married, Experience Hall on Feb 28, 1716 in Middletown, CT.  Experience was his second wife. Samuel married Lydia Bates July 22, 1695 at age 19 in Chelmsford, MA.  Lydia was 22.  Lydia provided 7 children for Samuel and died birthing Ebenezer Cotton in 1713.  Samuel married Experience 3 years later and Experience bore 4 more children for him.  William Cotton her second child is the boys' 7th great-grandfather.
